Built with local materials and traditional techniques. Immersed in two hectares of centuries-old oak trees and olive groves organically managed, the Masseria is an enclave of relaxation and rural simplicity. Casa Qirat has all the tradition of the forms and spaces of the most typical farms of Sicily: the white lime, the sheltered courtyards, the arches, the cement, the stone. All this is combined with respect and love for the environment, thanks to the energy of the sun and modern green building techniques used.
The house faces south onto a spacious, bright courtyard featuring a large brick sofa and abundant aromatic plants. An intimate garden of fruit trees surrounded by dry stone walls surrounds Casa Qirat, while a group of magnificent centuries-old oak trees provides pleasant shade on another section of the plot, which ultimately opens onto a large olive grove.The sparsely furnished yet bright spaces, the house’s lines, and every detail contribute to a comfortable atmosphere. Thick white walls protect and keep the rooms cool and quiet.
It comprises a large double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom featuring a double sink and bathtub, a second bathroom with a shower, a spacious living room with a sofa bed, and a bright, fully equipped separate kitchen with a wooden eight-seat dining table in front of a glass wall that opens onto the courtyard. Carefully selected materials and a contemporary feel make the spaces welcoming and functional, accommodating up to four guests.
